Green smooth hills, tall cypress trees, sleeping villages, mystic castles and majestic vineyards all await you on this magnificent run through the countryside of Chianti . Situated in hilly countryside between Florence and Sienna, this area famous for wine and romance is an epic place to run and to chill out.

There are three main distances in the event – Ecomaratona del Chianti Classico 42k – Chianti Classico Trail 21k – Chianti Trail del Luca 13k – all of them are forgettable experiences along the rolling hills of the Chianti Trail in the Tuscan countryside, one of the most desirable places to run in Italy, if not the world. The races are the heart of a three-night long weekend based in Sienna at a choice of 3-star or 4-star hotels that includes both a wine cellar walk on the Saturday as well as wonderful Welcome and Farewell dinners. If you don’t want to race the longer distances there are non-competitive walk or run opportunities over 6K, 13K and 19K.
