Have completed at least two full fiscal years of business operations in the travel industry at the time of application.
Comply with all legal requirements to operate as a travel company in the country of operation, including any applicable registrations, financial guarantees, insurance, or licenses.
Have sold at least 7 trips to international running events held outside the country of operation for each of the past 2 years (including at least 3 trips to World Marathon Majors in each of these years). Such trips must form part of a travel package including event race entry and travel services.
Handle a minimum of 1,000 international incoming guests per year for one or more running events. Incoming tour operators must clearly demonstrate professional engagement in organizing running travel.
Companies that have been suspended, banned, sanctioned, or otherwise restricted by race organizers due to misconduct (including unauthorized sale of entries or misrepresentation) may be denied membership.
The TOURS Board reserves the right to deny membership based on a reasoned decision.
